Carletta Jones

            Ms. Carletta Jones, 67, of Sharon, Pennsylvania, transitioned to her eternal home on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at her home.      

            Ms. Jones was born June 13, 1956 in Youngstown, a daughter of Leslie Harmon and Irene Clark.  She was a 1974 graduate of East High School and received her LPN license from Chofffin Career Center.  Carletta had been employed for over 20 years with Mercy Aultman Hospital in Canton.  She was a former member of Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed reading, drawing, crocheting, knitting, writing poems, watching TV and sports, especially football.

            She leaves to cherish her beloved memory, her significant other, Russell Campbell; five children, Tori I. Johnson, Dustin R. Hennings, Adelino C. Fontes III, Kelvin B. Jones II, and Brandy R. Jones; three siblings, Theresa Harmon, Lynn C. Harmon and Bradley Harmon; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

            Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Leslie Harmon and Larry Harmon; and her grandmother, Katie Brown.

            Visitation will be Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Road, Youngstown.  Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 noon.  Guests are asked to wear masks.
