Mr. Burton (Burt) McGee, 56, departed this life Monday March 25, 2024 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Main Campus. Burt was born November 21, 1967 in Canton, OH, the son of Burt and Cynthia Brown McGee. He was a graduate of East High School in Youngstown. He had been employed at Safe House as a Group-leader. He loved being with family, Old School music, having yard picnics, watching the series Law and Order, and was an avid Dallas Cowboy football fan.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his mother, Cynthia Brown McGee Boston; his children; two sons, Bryan Gibson and Burt M. McGee IV; two daughters; Ashley and Brittany McGee all of Youngstown; Deborah Gibson the Mother of his children; four sisters; Michelle McGee of Toledo, Shawn McGee of Youngstown, Dawn (Milton) Taltoan of Campbell and Lisa (Herman) Walker of Struthers.
He was preceded in death by his great- grandmother Ora Stone; his grandparents Edna N. and Wilford Brown; Bert and Jessie McGee; his father, his step-father, Eddie Boston; his Uncle Andy McGee; his brothers, Keith D. and Kevin M McGee; his niece, Special Strickland and a great-nephew, Brandon Adams.
Visitation will be 1:30-2:30pm Thursday April 4, 2024 at L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home 1951 McGuffey Road Youngstown, Oh. with the funeral service starting at 2:30pm. Services of Love and Dignity entrusted to L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.
