Breion C. Barnes

Breion Chartale Barnes passed at age 33 Peacefully on August 31st 2025 in her sleep. Breion was born to her mother Demetria S Fields and her dad Michael C Barnes on January 15th 1992.

Breion was a graduate of East High School in Columbus Ohio where she earned countless awards in sports, art, and academics.  She then continued her education by attending Pane College in Georgia, being one of the first to graduate college.

Breion continued her various accomplishments by serving this country in the US Army for ten years where she retired as an E-5 Sergeant in July of 2022. During her service for this country, she continued her education and earned an associate’s degree in General Education at Columbia Southern University. In 2023 she continued her learning at Governors University for Accounting.

Breion was definitely loved by all she encountered with her passion for life, family always came first. Breion had strong morals and values which illuminated her shine in this world. She had many hobbies which she excelled in every way.

Breion will be sorely missed as she showed compassion, brilliance, and a cheerful beautiful smile. Breion leaves behind to cherish her memory; her mother, Demetria Fields and father, Michael Barnes; three sisters, Miechelle Barnes of Youngstown OH, Mikara Barnes of Youngstown, Michole Barnes of Killeen Texas; a brother, Trenton Jackson of Columbus OH; nieces and nephews, Elijah, Nya, Zyaire, Mason, Paris, Jordynn, Skylar of Youngstown, Cameron and Kenzie of Killeen TX; her grandfather, Timothy White, and a slew of aunts, uncles, cousins and family friends.

Breion was preceded in death by grandmothers; Charlene Fields Brown, Eleanor Roland Barnes Martin; an aunt, Laverne Barnes, and great grandparents, Earlene Fields and Charles Fields.
