Ashley had been a proud resident of Orlando, FL for the last 13 years before returning home to Youngstown in June 2024. Ashley as a 2001 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School. Ashley furthered her education at Lincoln Technology and went on to receive her degree as a Medical Assistant and Radiology Technician. Ashley was a jack of all trades, her true passions was an “entrepreneur” from chef to nail technician. She genuinely enjoyed feeding people and opening her home to anyone in need.
Ashley was a member of Restart Baptist Church and a true believer of Christ Almighty.
Ashley leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Patrick Reynolds; her five children, Amiyah and Anthony Bell, Ayanna and Allen Lockett, and Patrick Reynolds III; Mylon Martin (adoptive son); overseer/guardian, Andrae Martin (her nephew); her mother, Cherol Martin; a brother, Andrae Martin; two sisters, Kiana Franklin and Audra Hathman; special brother/cousin, Edwin (Sandy) Martin and Dion Martin. Three sisters-in-love, Kisiah Hathman, Tierra Harp and Shannon Carter; brothers-in-love, Ronald Hathman Jr.; her grandparents, Allen and Pecola Martin; nine nieces, Asia Martin, Ahonesty Martin, Ariah Hathman, Ashley Hathman, Wilma Hathman, Rachele Hathman, Nevaeh Hopkins, Ariante Vargas, Alaijah Martin; six nephews, Andrae Martin, Kiantez Martin, Ronald Hathman III, Ezell Martin, Manuel Heriot, Anthony Hopkins; seven great nieces, Kay and Korrine Jackson, London, Londyn Roslyn, Madelyn; two great nephews, Kaiden and Kory Jackson; seven aunts, Lorraine Smith, Ruth “Annie” Franklin, Betty Simmons, Carolyn “Gwen” Franklin, Helen Franklin, Gail White, Clarrisa King; two uncles, Marvin Martin and Edward Franklin; a “special” child friend, Vincent aka Nipples, the Reynolds family; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
Ashley was preceded in death by her father, Chester Franklin; two nephews, Anthony and Chester Martin; her first husband, Anthony “Tone” Bell; sister-in-law, Christian Martin, grandparents, Louis and Emma Franklin; aunts, Lesha Hood and Dianne Gordon; uncles, Allen Martin, Daniel Franklin, Charles Simmons, Joe Franklin, Timothy Franklin and Jerry Hood; cousins, Denis Harvard and Mylan Martin.
Visitation will be Monday, September 9, 2024 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m.
