Anabel M. "Bella" Cupeles

On Sunday June 14th, 2026 the world lost a truly beautiful light. Ms. Anabel M. Cupeles, 50, of Youngtown.

Anabel, affectionately known as “Bella” was born October 29th, 1975 in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico and was raised in the Bronx until relocating to Youngtown at age 13. She was the daughter of Victor and Ana Martinez-Cupeles. Bella graduated in 1994 from East High School and was a loving associate of Advance Auto Parts. Bella was full of life and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an amazing cook and would often cook three different meals for one dinner to meet the specific needs of each of her loved ones in their home. In her free time Bella loved to travel, garden, take care of her two dogs and cook. Some of her favorite places to visit were Geneva-On-The-Lake, New York and Florida, where she would visit her family.

She leaves to mourn her passing but also celebrate her life, two sons, Marcus McCaskill (Danielle) and Elijah McCaskill; three grandchildren, Elena, Mari and Josiah; her beloved life partner Thomas Moses; siblings, Marilyn, Fermin (Lisandra), Joey (Jackie), Antonio, Manuel (Karen), Vicky, Millie, Flberto and Mickey; her mother Ana and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Victor M. Cupeles; her niece, Maria A. Estrada; lifelong friend, Maria Class; and her dog, Madison.

Visitation will be held Tuesday June 23rd, 2026 from 12:30pm-1:00pm at L.E Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of life at 1:00pm.
