Aaron Stacey Cousin, born on October 29, 1967, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 57. Aaron was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Maurice and Dorinda Cousin. He graduated from The Rayen School. Aaron served his country honorably as a member of the United States Marine Corps where he demonstrated resilience and dedication. Following his service, he pursued his passion for cooking and made a career as a chef working at esteemed establishments in Youngstown, Ohio. His culinary talent brought joy to countless people, and he especially loved barbecuing at the park with family and friends.
Aaron had a profound love for sports, movies, and music, and he found joy in traveling with his family. His sense of humor and ability to make others laugh were defining traits, alongside his deep care for the interests of those around him.
Aaron is survived by his loving father, Maurice Cousin; his children, Charity Cousin, Ciera (Chris) Ingram, and Aaron Julian Cousin, as well as his grandchildren, Julian Cousin, Vincent Moorer, Cherish Moorer and Harper Ingram. He is also survived by his devoted brother, Lamar Cousin of Charlotte, NC; and will be missed by a host of family including his aunt, Madelyn Cousin Johnson of Charlotte, NC; and his uncle, Casey Cousin of Kenosha, WI. He will be remembered by his former wife, Kathleen Barganier-Cousin. Among his closest friends was Kevin Madison, a friend of over 50 years, who stood by him throughout his life.
Aaron was predeceased by his mother, Dorinda Cousin, and his brother, Maurice Cousin Jr
A memorial service to honor Aaron’s life will be held on January 11, 2025 at L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden, 1951 McGuffey Road, Youngstown, Ohio 44505. Family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:30 p.m. Services will follow at 1:30 p.m.
Aaron Stacey Cousin leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. His warmth and kindness will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
