Funeral services Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5 at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church, 1210 Himrod Ave., for William Terrence Mosley, 53, who departed this life Monday, June 26 at St. Elizabeth Health Care Center-Youngstown.

Mr. Mosley was born February 21, 1964 in Youngstown, a son of Earnest Neal and Genevieve and Louis Mosley Gibson. He was a 1982 graduate of The Rayen School where he excelled in football earning letters all four years and was an All- City standout. He was also a veteran of the United States Army. Terrence was employed in the construction field and until his death, was employed by various contractors as a Union Laborer of Local 125 Youngstown.

Family was his passion. He adored children, his favorite pastime was spent with his grandkids and lovingly took on friends’ children as his own. Mr. Mosley lived for family gatherings and was usually amongst the first to show and the first to eat. He was a long time Dallas Cowboy fan and loved to watch NASCAR racing.

He leaves to cherish his beloved memory, his fiancé,  Claudia Lawrence of Campbell; one daughter, Makeda Mosley of Youngstown; three sons, Torrence Mosley of Youngstown, Porcaro Earnest of Dalton, Ala. and William Terrence Clemons of Atlanta, Ga.; four brothers, Dennis E. (Veronica) Mosley, Barney S. (Deidre) Mosley, both of Youngstown, Kenneth B. Mosley of Mansfield; and Louis Gibson Jr. of Youngstown; six grandchildren, including Charlese Richardson and Sanaa Musleh, whom he helped rear; and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Marcus (Butch) Mosley.

Friends may call from 10-11:00 a.m. at the church.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to L.E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home.
