A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00a.m. Thursday October 5, 2017, at Temple Emmanuel Seven Day Adventist Church 108 W. Indianola Avenue for Ms. Valerie Ann Henderson, who departed this life Sunday September 24, at Cleveland Clinic. 

Valerie was born July 3, 1951 in Cleveland a daughter of William M. and Willie Mae Henderson.  She was a 1971 graduate of East High School and had attended ITT Technical School.  She had been employed as a Nurse’s Aide for Comfort Keepers.  She was a faithful member of Temple Emmanuel SDA Church.  She was a Board member of One Ohio Health and loved her family dearly.                                               

She is survived by her two loving daughters, Antwanette Williams North of Campbell and Ronda Williams of Spring Hill, TN; four sisters, Cheryl Henderson and Althea (Terry) Robinson both of Youngstown, Mildred Evans of Rocky Mount, VA., and Juilene White of Reynoldsburg, Oh.; two brothers, Lenard (Vicki) White and Michael White both of Youngstown; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.                              

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Andrew Williams; a sister Judith White; three brothers Charles and Lee Harold Henderson and William White; and a son-in-law Raymond North Jr.  Arrangements were entrusted to L.E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home.
