Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2019 at the L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home for Mrs. Ruth Kibble, 84, formerly of Youngstown, who transcended to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 in Washington, DC.
Mrs. Kibble was born January 3, 1935 in Fayetteville, TN, a daughter of George Pitts Sr. and Florence Henderson. She was a homemaker and while residing in Youngstown, she was a former member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She was currently a member of Right Way Baptist Church in Washington, DC. She loved reading, Gospel Music, watching old Westerns and being with family.
She leaves to continue her legacy eight children, Clifton C. Kibble Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Fl., Linda Faye Kibble of Washington, DC., James Ray(Roslyn) Kibble and Diane Kibble both of Youngstown, Kenneth (Sonya) Kibble of Columbus, Ga., Kathy (Alde) Moore and Michael Kibble both of Youngstown and Lisa Ann Kibble of Washington, DC.; 11 grandchildren including two whom she reared, Waynette (Steven) Allen and Brittany Thomas; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; three special nieces, Brenda, Kimberly and Keisha Senter; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and ex-husband Clifton C. Kibble Sr., she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Helen Kibble; and eight siblings. Friends may call one hour prior to the services 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
