Rose Marie Norman

Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 22, 2018 at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home, for Ms. Rose Marie Norman, 84, of Youngstown, who passed away on Sunday, morning June 17, 2018.

            Ms. Norman was born October 30, 1933 in Youngstown, a daughter of Walter T. and Lula Rebecca Nuby.  She was a 1951 graduate of The Rayen School.  Rose Marie had been employed with Delphi Packard Electric as an assembler and then as an inspector for over 40 years, retiring January 28, 1994.  She was a member of Third Baptist Church and U. A. W. Local 717.  She enjoyed cooking, traveling, entertaining guest and was an animal lover, especially of cats.

            She leaves to cherish her beloved memories, her brother, Randall “Buddy” Nuby; a niece, Ramona Adams; four nephews, Randall (Brenda) Nuby, Jr., Walter (Audrey) Nuby, II, Tim (Laureane) Nuby and Anthony (Stephanie) Nuby; a goddaughter, Kim Moses; two special friends, Della Austin and Sonny Washington all of Youngstown; and a host of family and friends.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, George Norman, Jr.; and a sister, Roma Nuby.

            Friends may call Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
