Services will be 12 noon, Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home for Mr. Robert R. “Ray Ray” Jefferson Jr., 45, who passed away at Cleveland Clinic on Sunday, July 15, 2018.
“Ray Ray” was born September 19, 1972 in Youngstown, the son of Robert Sr. and Barbara Tucker Jefferson. He was a 1991 graduate of East High School and had been employed at KFC for over ten years, and at Delphi Packard for five years. Robert loved spending time with his son and family members. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He had a great sense of humor and the ability to make people laugh.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, with whom he made his home; his son, Andre Robert Jefferson of Liberty; his beloved sister, Danielle Jefferson of Campbell; his grandmother, Lucille Tucker of Youngstown; two nephews, Justin Mahone and Josiah Jefferson both of Campbell; his best friend, Eric McElroy of Youngstown; a special cousin, Trina Johnson of Youngstown; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; grandfather, Tommy L. Tucker; and grandparents, Eugene and Mildred Jefferson.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
