Robert Allan Harley, Sr.

Services will be 11:00am Tuesday October 23, 2018 at L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden funeral home for Mr. Robert A. Harley who passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2018.  Mr. Harley was born February 01, 1961 in Youngstown a son of Robert Davis and Carol Harley.  He was a graduate of East High School and was currently employed at Modern Builders Supplies in Austintown.  He enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and basketball. He loved being with his grandchildren, family and close friends.  He was an animal lover especially dogs.  He enjoyed cooking and watching sports his favorite team was the Pittsburgh Steelers.  He was a strong person, outspoken, humorous, a very hard worker, friendly and loved by his peers.  He enjoyed life and having a good time.    

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Carol Harley of Tampa, Fla.; his children; Starr, Shacole and Robert Harley Jr. all of Dayton, LaKeisha Taylor of Youngstown, Daniel Harley of Warren; his siblings, Tammy and Larry Harley and Debra Clemens all of Tampa, Fla.; twelve grandchildren; his companion Rhonda; his work family and a host of other relatives and friends

He was preceded in death by his Grandmother Gladys Croom; his aunt Gloria “Bun Bun” London; and his dogs whom he loved dearly Beauty, Red and Goldie.  Friends may call one hour prior to the services 10-11:00am .
