Norma Jean Trice, was born to Joseph and Virgina Atkins-Trice on January 14, 1946 in Washington DC.  Norma departed this life at the golden age of 71 in Midwest City, OK on November 29, 2017.  Norma made her home with her sister Barbabra Prowell. Not only was she a loving mother to her three kids; 2 sons, Daryl (Nicole) Trice of Youngstown; & Allen Trice of Jamestown, Ca. & her daughter, Kimberly Trice of Youngstown, she was also a devoted teacher and correctional officer. 

She will be forever remembered and cherished by her siblings Barbara Prowell of Midwest City, OK. & Larry Trice of Alamogordo, NM; her nine grandchildren; LaSabrea Trice, Donelle Trice, DeShane Trice, Daryl Trice, Jason Trice all of Youngstown, OH., Ayana Gazca-Trice of Bronx, NY., Jasmin Fason of Pittsburgh, PA., Isaiah Fason of Atlanta, GA., & Makeda Polite of TN; her great-grandchildren; Elijah & Anaya Gray-Trice, Dereon Trice, & Bella Trice of Youngstown, OH., Malia Trice of Columbus, OH., and Mckenzie Hughes of Pittsburgh, PA; and a host of family and friends.

She was predeceased by her grandparents Spencer Atkins and Juanita Adams-Atkins, her parents Joseph & Virginia Trice, her sisters Bonnie "Cookie" Smith, Ruby "FeFe" Trice, and great-granddaughter Ariona Gray-Trice.  Cards can be sent to: Kimberly Trice at 564 Miller St Youngstown, OH 44502. 

Calling hours will be from 10am-11am on Friday December 8, 2017 at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home, 1951 McGuffey Rd., Youngstown, 44505. Services will follow immediately at 11am. 

Interment will be at Belmont Park Cemetery 3346 Belmont Ave., Youngstown OH 44504
