Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 2, 2017 at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for Ms. Mary Bell Carr, 85, of Youngstown, who departed this life Tuesday, May 23, 2017.

Ms. Carr was born November 18, 1931, a daughter of James and Juanita Marie Green Franklin. She worked more than 60 years in the domestic industry and was a member of Phillips Memorial Missionary Baptist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memory, four daughters, Lavada (Arthur) Jones, Celeste Carr, Ella Carr and Terry Franklin, all of Youngstown; two sons, Dennis Franklin and Anthony Carr, both of Youngstown; six siblings, Willie Jean Johnson, Lillie Pearl Saunders, Elaine, Joanne, Gussie and Rhonda Franklin, all of Youngstown; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and four siblings.
