Private services were held for Mr. Lewis P. Robinson, 79, of Youngstown, who departed this life Sunday, July 22, 2018.
Mr. Robinson was born June 25, 1939 in Fairmont, West Virginia, a son of William and Mary Pines Robinson. He had worked with Kaiser Permanente, retiring after 30 years of service. He was a U. S. Army veteran and had served in Vietnam.
He leaves to cherish his beloved memory, two daughters, Linna (Larry) Turner of Youngstown and Leda (Larry Evans) of Copperscove, TX; a son, Lewis Robinson, Jr. of Youngstown; daughter-in-law, Lisha Roberts of Youngstown; a sister, Clorine Barbour; 11 grandchildren, Larry Turner, Jr., Linna (Heriberto) Nieves, Tamica (Kevin) Justino, Adrian Turner, Ashley Turner, Shantae (Carolos) Justino, Shanay Robinson, Lewis Robinson III, Lamar Robinson, Larry Evans, Jr., and LeTonya Evans; and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, the former Valerie Atkinson, whom he married in 1986, and who passed away December 2012; four brothers, Carl Robinson, William Matthew Robinson, John “Cherry” Robinson, and George Robinson; five sisters, Mary Jane Branch, Deloris Ann Brown; Jean Sydnor, Grace Robinson; and Ruth “Red” Amos.
The family wishes to send a “Special Thank You” to Assumption Village Nursing Home; and his niece and nephew, Diane and Matt Robinson of Fairmont West Virginia.
