Kathleen Mary (Bell) Sanderson

Services will be 12:00 noon on Monday, December 17, 2018 at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for Mrs. Kathleen Mary Bell Sanderson, 86, of Youngstown, who departed this life Saturday, December 8, 2018.

            Mrs. Sanderson was born September 9, 1932 in Campbell, Ohio, a daughter of Ira and Daisy Bryant Williams.  She was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School.  A devoted homemaker, Kathleen also worked in the canteen at Republic Steel Corporation.  She was a member of Christ Dwelling Place Ministries and was mother of the church.  She enjoyed playing social cards, social games, bingo, was an avid reader and loved being with her grandchildren.

            She leaves to cherish her beloved memories, four children, Saundra (Jimmie) Bell, Lester Bell, Jr. (Stacia Abbott), Bishop Alice Bell Parkman, and Pastor Carl (Yvonne) Irving all of Youngstown; 21 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; and 6 great great great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, JoAnn Sanderson both of Youngstown; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles, who passed away May 5, 1997; a daughter, Sandra Bell Davis; a grandson, Braylin Bell; and a granddaughter, Timlin Sanderson; and son-in-law, Clay Sanderson.

            Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
