Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church for Ms. Jacqueline McGeorge, 74, of Youngstown, who departed this life on Monday, March 4, 2019 at the St. Annes Mt. Carmel Hospital in Columbus.
Ms. McGeorge was born January 11, 1945 in Youngstown, a daughter of Frank Sr. and Johnnie Mae McFarland Owens. She attended South High School and had been employed as a nurses aide at North Side Hospital, retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Acts of Faith Community Crusade Church in Columbus, and former member of Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed being with her family, loved her church, movies, and games on her phone. She also loved being with beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Sharron Dickson Gilliam of Youngstown; sister, Katie Jones and brother, Elijah Parks both of Youngstown; six grandchildren, Sharmaine Etheridge, Sharlie McQueen and Sharonda Daniels all of Columbus, Dawon Dickson, Deneisha Dickson and Daron Dickson whom she reared also of Columbus; 12 great grandchildren; one great great grandson; her goddaughter, Denise Carlock-Venable; godson, Michael Carlock; best friend, Ernestine Carlock; and a host of children who were like sons and daughters to her, as well as their children who were like grandchildren to her, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; late husband, Robert L. Dickson, daughters, Rhonda and Eva Dickson; twin brother, James Owens, Frank Owens, Jr. and Robert Owens.
