Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for Mr. George E. Clark, Sr., 68 of Spring Hill, Florida (formerly of Youngstown) who was called home to rest in the arms of the Lord on Thursday, December 21, 2017.

Mr. Clark was born November 13, 1949 in Youngstown, a son of William Earl and Annie Maude Poole Clark.  He was a 1968 graduate of North High School.  He was employed at the General Motors Lordstown for 35 years.  He loved fishing, boating, camping, motorcycling and spending time with family and friends, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.  He was a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Spring Hill, FL under the leadership of  Pastor Freddie Hinson.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, the former Donna J. Harris, whom he married August 14, 2004, of Spring Hill; his children, Terri (Barry) Singleton of Youngstown, Tiffany (Rodney) Fields of Columbus and George (Tina) Clark, Jr. of Newport News, VA; an adopted daughter, Juanita (Theodore III) Toles of Newton Falls; stepdaughter, Celena Harris of Youngstown; his sister, Inez Rowe of Struthers; a brother, John (Theresa) Clark of New Port Richey, FL; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Rosie Young and Annie Young; two brothers, William and James Clark; three stepsons, Eugene and Curtis Harris, and Thomas Owens.
