Diane L. Dent-Williams

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home for Mrs. Diane L. Dent-Williams, 66, who departed this life on Sunday, June 10, 2018. 

Diane was born June 01, 1952 in Youngstown, a daughter of Clyde Pegram and Mabel Brown Dent.  She was a graduate of North High School and received an Associate Degree in Medical Billing and Coding from Ross Medical.  She worked for various facilities where she did billing and coding.  She was of the Baptist faith, and loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping.  She loved being with family and friends and was referred to as the “funniest person ever.”       

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Anttwon Dent and Jiyen Sr. (LaToya) Dent both of Youngstown; a brother, Eddie (Jackie) Dent of Texas; three sisters, Lorraine Dorsey of Columbus, Deborah Graham and Jan Pegram both of Youngstown; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her “furry” son, Ajax; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Williams, whom she married December 15, 2000 and who passed away April 21, 2010; a brother, Cornel Pegram; and grandson Jiyen Dent Jr.
