S. Army veteran.

He leaves to cherish his memory, but rejoice in his heavenly peace, his wife, the former, Jacquelyn Hubbard, whom he married May 25, 2004; four sons, John M. Edwards and Keith (Tamika) Reynolds of Columbus, Derick M. Edwards, Jr. and Brian L. Edwards both of San Diego, CA; seven daughters, Tysha M. Hill, Tracey L. Iverson and Elaina N. Jackson all of Columbus, Sherele M. (Anthony) Hill-McCray, Dereca M. (Leon) Heard-Whatley and Tonne I. (Dante`) Hill Gilyard all of Youngstown; 25 grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Sarah I. (Aaron) Hubbard of San Diego, CA; a brother, Ronnie E. Edwards, Sr. of Struthers; close friends who were like brothers, Larry Johnson, Ed Craft and Robert Irwing, Jr.;  his first wife and her husband, Cynthia and Ronald Wilson of Columbus; his furry best friends, “Tazzz” and “Bobbyrobb”; and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard J. Edwards, Sr.; and two grandchildren, Je`Vohn and Je`Ronn Hill.

Visitation will be Monday from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. at the church.  The American Legion #247 will hold a memorial service at 10:00 a.m.
