Denise Eron Colvin

Services will be 1:00pm Saturday at L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden funeral home for Denise Eron Colvin who entered eternal rest unexpectedly on October 10, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.  Denise was born December 14, 1961 in Youngstown, a daughter of William R. Sr. and Elsie P. Greene Colvin.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and listening to gospel music.  She enjoyed writing and cooking French Fries.            

She leaves to mourn her passing her mother Elsie P. Colvin; two daughters, TaKia Colvin of Orlando, Fla. and Yashieya “Kandi” Colvin of Youngstown; three brothers William R. Colvin Jr., Rodney Sr. (Elizabeth) Colvin and William R. Hill; six grandchildren, TeYarrah Peavy-Colvin, TaDailon (DeNeshia Tate) Colvin, Willie Thompson Jr., Quandrelle Thompson, Edmund Miller Jr. of Orlando, Fla. and Tahtiana Hewlett of Youngstown; two great-grandchildren, Dream Colvin and Trinity Gardner; special cousins Latonia “Sam” Dean and Marion “Pety” Jefferson and a host of family and friends.      

She was preceded in death by her father William R. Colvin Sr. and a son Duane L. Colvin.  Friends may call one hour prior to the services 12noon-1:00pm.  The family wishes to thank everyone for all their acts of kindness.
