Charisha Lynn Sydney

            Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 20, 2019 at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for Ms. Charisha Lynn Sydney, 39, of Youngstown, who transitioned from this earthly life to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 12, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side.

            Ms. Sydney, affectionately known as “ReeRee”, was born August 14, 1979 in Youngstown, a daughter of Charles G. and Rosalyn D. Dixon Sydney.  She was a 1997 graduate of East High School and had been employed as a nurses aide with area nursing homes.  She enjoyed listening to music, watching movies and shopping.

            She leaves to cherish her beloved memory, her parents of Youngstown; a sister, Katina Sydney of Youngstown; a brother, Charles G. (Lahomia) Sydney of Florida; her grandmother, Ruby Clarett of Youngstown; her furry kittens, Momma, Cinnamon and Taco; and a host of loving family and friends.

            Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Clarence and Charlotte Sydney, Henry Clarett and Vincent Dixon.

            Friends may call on Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
