Brian Allen Eskew

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday April 2, 2018 at L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home for Mr. Brian Allen Eskew who departed this life, March 26, 2018.

Brian was born in Sharon, PA. September 7, 1959, a son of Milton Sr. and Virginia L. Gillespie Eskew.  He attended Thornhill Elementary School and graduated from North High School in 1978.  He was very active in sports playing football and running Track.  He was a of the North High track team that made it to the state finals in 1976.  He coached the Kings Little League Football Team for several years.  Mr. Eskew attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Point Park University in Pittsburgh.  He previously worked for many years at the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, J. P. Morgan Chase Bank and retired from Shomac Corporation of Columbus.                                                                                   

He is survived by his mother Virginia L. McRae; step-mother, Mabel Eskew both of Youngstown; his wife, Annette-Graves Eskew whom he married May 31, 1977; two sons, Antonio and Antwan Eskew all of Columbus; four grandchildren, Nayla, Nathyn, Anayza and Antonio Jr.;  a brother Milton I. Jr. (Alicia) Eskew of Youngstown; stepbrothers, Alfred of Washington D. C. and Larry Boyd of MD., and Raymond Boyd; stepsisters Sandra McRae of Youngstown and Ora McRae of Ankorage, Ak.; his God-daughter, Lillian Gabriel and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and extended family.                                   

He was preceded in death by his father Milton I. Eskew Sr.; step-father Amos McRae; brothers, Robert, Rodney and Karl Eskew; step-brothers, Gregory Gary and Lawrence McRae; a sister Jennifer Peace and mother-in-law Shirley Brunner.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
