Funeral services will be held at noon on Friday, November 24, 2017, at L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Brenda F. Beacham-Norris, 66, who went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 13, surrounded by her family.

Brenda was one of nine children, born to Harvey H. and Ideltra Tomlin-Beacham on October 8, 1951 in Pontiac, Mich. She was a 1971 graduate of South High School, attended Penn-Ohio College and went on to become a seamstress at Brentwood Original for 25 years. She loved to watch the Dallas Cowboys and the Cleveland Cavaliers. She also found joy in watching Soap Operas and reality television shows. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially the apple of her eye, her grandson MJ.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Ayesha A. Norris and grandson, Mikial J. Norris, both of Youngstown; two sisters, Mertha Rogers-Williams of St. Louis, Mo., and Debbie L. Beacham of Toledo; two brothers, Aaron H. Beacham of Turkey and Timothy R. Beacham of Youngstown; a host of nieces and nephews including Tamica M. Beacham of Toledo, Dana (Camete) Adams of Girard, Wilber B. (Shawvine) Beacham of Columbus, Ideltra B. (Charles) Beacham-Russell of Memphis, Tenn., J.B. Beacham of Youngstown, Damon Beacham of Chandler Ariz. and Charleston (Jenine) Ramey of Bedford, Oh., whom she helped rear; two great-nieces who was close to her heart, Tanaya M. Beacham and Daje-auna Adams; and many other close cousins, family members and friends.

She was met at the gates of heaven by her parents; her son, Mikial Norris; one sister, Doris Lucas; and three brothers, Wilbur B. Beacham Sr., John W. Beacham, and former Youngstown Patrolman Leonard A. Bridges.

Friends may call from noon – 3 p.m. on Friday, no formal funeral service will be held.
