Arnold James Lawson

Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September, 21, 2018 at the Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church for Mr. Arnold James Lawson, 56, of Youngstown, who departed this life Wednesday, September 5, 2018. 

            Mr. Lawson was born January 31, 1962 in Youngstown, a son of June and Corrine Chillous Lawson.  He was a 1980 graduate of Ursuline High School and was a U. S. Army veteran.  He was former owner/operator of “Arnold’s Good to Bone” Food Truck.  He was a member of Price Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, its choir and was assistant custodian with his father; he was a member of the NAACP, Boy Scouts of America and had received his Eagle Scout Award.

            He leaves to cherish his beloved memory, his mother of Youngstown; his son, Christopher J. Lawson of Austintown; a sister, Sheila Lawson of Youngstown; and a host of family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father.

            Visitation will be Thursday from 12:00 noon to 6:00 p.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home.
