Anne Pleas-Cobbin Obituary

On Tuesday evening, June 12, 2018, God sent His Angels to the Valley Care Northside Medical Center to gently escort His beloved child, Anne Pleas-Cobbin to her heavenly home.

            Ms. Pleas-Cobbin was born March 4, 1947 in Lima, Ohio, a daughter of Henderson and Ola Bronson Pleas.  She was a 1965 graduate of North High School and had been employed as an assembler and a technician with Delphi Packard Electric for 39 years, retiring in 2007.  She was baptized as a child and was a former member of Friendship Baptist Church in Girard where she served as an usher.  She was an alumni member of the former CMC’s.  Anne enjoyed traveling, , shopping on QVC AND HSN.  Anne especially loved spending time with her precious nieces, nephews and family.

            She leaves to mourn her passing, but rejoice in her eternal peace, her sister, Essie Winkfield; her brother, Harold (Loretta) Pleas both of Youngstown; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other family and friends, including Rev. Gwen Johnson, Gert Taylor and her mother, Corrine Taylor.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Juanita Warren; and a brother, Edward Pleas.

            Friends may call Wednesday, June 20, 2018  from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the Friendship Baptist Church, 111 Water Street, Girard, Ohio.  Funeral services will follow immediately at 11:00 a.m.
