Services will be 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for Mrs. Alberta Robinson, 76, of Youngstown who departed this life Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Health Center Youngstown.

Mrs. Robinson was born August 6, 1940 in Cliftonville, Mississippi, a daughter of R. L. Bush and Malinda Arnold.  A devoted homemaker, Alberta was a former member of New Bethel Baptist Church.  She loved to play bingo, enjoyed gardening and cooking. 

She leaves to forever cherish her memories, two daughters, Helen Robinson of Jacksonville, FL, and Mary Armstrong of Youngstown; six sons, William (Angela), James, Edward, Earis Robinson all of Youngstown, Sammie (Cathy) Robinson of Jacksonville, FL, and Robert (Sherry) King of Atlanta, GA; a sister, Lisa (WL) Hull of Shuqualak, Mississippi; 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ervin Robinson, whom she married December 23, 1957 and who passed away September 16, 2005; four sisters, Lillie Ruth Blair, Edith Bigby, Rose Harris, and Alice Simon; two brothers, Henry and Willie Arnold.
