Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home for Mr. Warren Franklin Warr, 79, who departed this life Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Vista Center at the Ridge.

Mr. Warr was born January 12, 1938 in Wilson, Arkan, a son of Warren Edwin and Izella Hawkins Warr.  He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and spent more than 20 years as an automobile salesman. Mr. Warr was of Baptist faith and married his beloved wife, Willie Mae “Peggy” on October 13, 1990.

 He leaves to cherish is memory, his wife of 27 years; one son, Gregory (Ratree) Warr of Columbus; three daughters, Kecia Warr of Cleveland, Tamarr Warr of Ariz., and LaShawn (Michael) Townes of Dayton; one brother, Alfred (Ivan) Warr; one sister, Georgia Adil Bollin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Clinton Shaw; and one sister, Juanita Raglin.

The family appreciates staff and service that was rendered to Mr. Warr during his stay at Vista Center on the Ridge.
