Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for Mrs. Shirley Ann Johnson-Ford, 66, of Eufaula, Alabama, formerly of Youngstown, who departed this life Saturday, April 22, 2017 at the Flowers Hospital in Alabama.

Mrs. Johnson-Ford was born July 1, 1950 in Buffalo, New York, a daughter of Oree and Emma Johnson Tyson, and was raised by Wesley and Luciel Tyson.  She was a 1968 graduate of East High School and attended classes to be a real estate appraiser.  She was employed with General Motors in both Lordstown and most recently in Texas for 30.6 years, retiring in 2009.

She leaves to cherish her beloved memory, her husband, David Lee Ford, Sr., whom she married August 6, 2014; her daughters, Tonya Washington and her husband Donald of Youngstown and Sheila Johnson & her fiancé, Kendall Gilbert of Eufaula, Alabama; six stepchildren; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; her siblings, Juel Mohead of Chicago, Johnny Tyson of Pittsburgh, PA, Earnestine (Carl) Taylor of Ocalla, Florida, Patricia Etheridge of Eufaula, Alabama and Michael Tyson of Boston, Massachusetts; Betty (Willie) Saxon and Jeanette (Danny) Daniels both of Youngstown, and Fred (Marcella) Lowe of Boston, Massachusetts; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
