Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, at the Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church, 2045 Jacobs Road for Mr. Samuel Ware, 88, who passed away peacefully on Aug. 25, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Mr. Ware was born Dec. 25, 1928, in Youngstown, a son of George Ware Sr. and Mamie Copeland-Ware.
He was a faithful member of the Triedstone Missionary Baptist Church, where he sang in the senior choir and as a member of the Brotherhood Club. Mr. Ware was a member of the Tommie Warren Lodge No. 5 and enjoyed serving others.
He worked at Republic Steel and LTV Steel. He retired in 1985, with over 20 years of service. In 1960, Mr. Ware became a part of the Twyman, Carter and Bryant family.
He leaves to cherish his memory, a close friend, Mildred Twyman; her children; one brother, Alphonso L. Ware of Cleveland; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, William Ware, Joe Ware, Richard Ware and George Ware Jr.; and two sisters, Marveline Marrow and Delores Ware-Spires.
Friends may call one hour prior to the services, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
