Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for Ms. Rosie Lee Bunkley, 69, of Youngstown, who departed this life Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Mercy Health St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Ms. Bunkley was born April 15, 1948 in Griffin, Georgia, a daughter of P. M. and Irene Hunt McCrary.  A loving homemaker, Rosie was a member of  Greater Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.  She enjoyed sewing, modeling, cosmetology, singing, dancing and mentoring youth. 

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Penelope Bunkley, and her son, Edward Bunkley both of Youngstown; two grandchildren, Laquasha Bunkley and Juston Dunn; four sisters, Cecilia (John) Brown, Janice (Frank) Tyus, Jacqueline (Allen) Buford and Linda Singleton; two brothers, Larry (Aletha) McCray and Wayne McCray; and a host of family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Andowmorrow Bunkley and a brother, Bennie C. McCray.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:30 – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
