Services will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016 at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for Mr. Nathaniel Leon Hammonds, III, 38 of Youngstown, who departed this life Saturday evening at University Hospital in Cleveland.

Mr. Hammonds was born May 22, 1978 in Youngstown, a son of Nathaniel L. Jr. and Marvice Simpson Hammonds.  Mr. Hammonds enjoyed being with his children and family, and especially loved going to watch his children in their sports activities.   He found enjoyment in fishing, music and being the boss over the family.

He leaves to cherish his beloved memories, his wife, the former Tiffani Chari Hodges, whom he married May 27, 2012; two sons, Tristin and Tyrie Hammonds and a daughter, Noa Hammonds all of Farrell, PA; a sister, Carla (Marvin) Backman of Youngstown; three brothers, Leroy (Robin) Hammonds of Farrell, Harold (Rica) Dabney of West Virginia, and Daryl (Ramona) Dabney of Pittsburgh, PA; his best friend, Thomas Woods of Youngstown; a goddaughter, Da`Miah Wiley of Farrell; a cousin, Jermaine (Larissa) Ingram; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a nephew, Robert Floyd, Jr.
