Services will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the L. E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for Ms. Mable L. Harris, 74, of Youngstown, who went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 21, 2017.

Mrs. Harris was born July 11, 1943 in Sharon, PA, a daughter of Lloyd and Occie M. Cody Tutt.  Mable was a 1961 graduate of Sharon High School and attended Brooklyn School of Nursing and later became a Licensed Practical Nurse.  She had been employed at St. Elizabeth Hospital for 20 years and Windsor House Nursing Home until retiring in 2003.  Prior to her illness, she was a member of the Family Worship Center.  She was a true Prayer Warrior belonging to many prayer groups.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, watching basketball, and spending time with her family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory three children, CaSonya Harris (her caregiver), David (Christina) Harris Jr., and Faith Harris-Jefferson all of Youngstown; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; two brothers, Marion L. (Melanie) Tutt and Doyle E. Tutt both of California; a step-brother, Thermon C. Brodie; and many family and friends.

Mable was preceded in death by her parents and step-mother, Fannie (Brodie) Tutt; and godparents, Willie J. and Lillie M. Smith.
