Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 11, 2017, at the L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for Ms. Lois Estelle Crosby, 62, formerly of Youngstown, who passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at the KoBacker House in Columbus, with her loving family by her side.

Ms. Crosby was born July 24, 1954, in Youngstown, a daughter of Adam and Thelma McElrath Christian. Lois attended Youngstown City Schools and was a member of the Phillips Memorial Baptist Church. A devoted homemaker, Lois enjoyed cooking, drawing, auto mechanics, building different items, traveling and planning family events.

Lasting memories will forever be held dear in the hearts of her two daughters, LaTanya Christian of Columbus and Natasha Smith of New Castle, Pa.; three sons, Reginald Christian and Maurice Christian, both of Columbus, and Christopher Love of Warren; six sisters, Betty McMillan, Diane Brown, Jimmie Nell McClain, Peggie (Jonas) Johnson, Carolyn (Calvin) Brewer, and Shirley Williams; three brothers, Leon Smith, Joseph Smith and Larry (Barbara) Christian; 27 grandchildren, including James and C.J. Christian, whom she reared; 17 great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Jeanette Christian; sisters Jeanette Williams, Mary Story, Maybelle Stanford and LaCressa Christian; and brothers Gary, Otis, Arthur, Joseph, Solomon and Clarence Christian.

Friends may call Friday from   10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
