We, the Pastor, Officers and Congregation of Oak Missionary Baptist Church offer our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences on the passing Mother Lillie Mae McRae.
From the pain of the flesh, we must let go and humbly submit to our Creator and Sustainer who has seen fit to call dear Mother McRae home. But in our spirit, we can shout Halleluiah for she has completed her assignment and is on her journey home.
“For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.”
2 Corinthians 5:1
Be confident, knowing; to be absent from the body (is) to be present with the Lord.
2 Corinthians 5:8a
So we look forward to that “Great Getting Up Morning” when we shall see our sister again.
