Services will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, at the L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for Mr. Kevin Jesse Stephens, 30, who departed this life on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at his home.

Mr. Stephens, affectionately known as “Socky,” was born Sept. 27, 1987, in Youngstown, a son of Kevin C. Queener and Ilene M. Stephens.

He attended Youngstown City Schools. He had played little league football with the Eastside Little Broncos and enjoyed WWE Wrestling, hunting and fishing.

He leaves to cherish his beloved memory, his father and stepmother, Kevin (Georgeann Rodriguez) Queener of Austintown; his mother, Ilene M. Stephens of Youngstown; two children, Kayanna J. Stephens and Kevin R. Stephens, both of Georgia; a sister, Alicia R. Stephens; grandmother Sylvia E. Stephens; his aunt, Rapunzel (Vincent) Stephens-Clements. who helped to rear him; godmother Viola Ivey; and his companion, Milagros Zayas, all of Youngstown; the mother of his children, Tawanna Wallace; and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wesley J. Stephens and Raymond and Helen Queener.

Friends may call Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
