Jacqueline “Jackie” Jones-Shepherd, 53, died Saturday, Oct. 28, 2017, of natural causes.

She was born Sept. 20, 1964, in Lumpkin, Ga., a daughter of Walter and Mattie Thomas Jones. She was employed at BJ Alan Fireworks, was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Girard.

Survivors include two sons, Donte’ Jones of Girard and Marco Hammond Jr. of Youngstown; three sisters, Batrese Jones and Karen Belt, both of Columbus, and Cassandra Hall of Atlanta; a brother, Walter Jones Jr. of Girard; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Services will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at L. E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home, Youngstown, where friends may call 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
