Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017 at L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral home for Mr. Edward Thompson Jr., affectionately known as Juney, who graduated to heaven on October 31, 2017.

Juney was born on April 11, 1947 to his father, Edward Thompson Sr., and mother, Murlvia Thompson. In his spare time, he enjoyed watching television, building model cars, reading comic books, drawing and receiving visits from family members. He will forever be cherished by those who love him.

He leaves to cherish his memory, five nieces, Wanda Burley, Candace Brassfield, Roxanne Brassfield, Pamela McCrae and Sally McCrae; and three nephews, James Brassfield, Walter Brassfield Jr. and Christopher McCrae.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Walter and Willard Brassfield; and a nephew, David McCrae.

Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Services will begin at 1 p.m., officiated by Pastor Bob Brittain.
