Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 27, 2017, at the L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for Mr. David Vincent Taltoan, 62, who passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at his home.

Mr. Taltoan was born Feb. 3, 1955, in Youngstown, a son of Marvin A. and Anna Mae Curry Taltoan.

He was a 1974 graduate of East High School and a dedicated worker at Station Square Ristorante, where he had been employed for 16 years. He was a former member of the New Birth Kimmelbrook Baptist Church. He loved music, and especially was an avid fan of Aretha Franklin, movies and shopping. He especially loved his family.

He leaves to cherish his beloved memory, two brothers, Maurice (Gladys) Taltoan and Milton (Dawn) Taltoan, both of Youngstown; four sisters, Cecelia J. Taltoan of Youngstown, Marvette Pack of Hermitage, Pa., Carolyn Taltoan of Akron and Darlene Taltoan of Girard; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Pierrie Taltoan; and a nephew, Pierrie Taltoan Jr.

Friends may call Friday from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
