Services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday January 2, 2018 at L.E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home for Ms. Cheryl Green affectionately known as “Pee Wee” by her family and friends. Ms. Green transcended to her eternal home December 25, 2017. 

She was born January 31, 1951 in Youngstown a daughter of Claude Sr. and Mary Shaw Green.  She was a graduate of North High School and had attended Youngstown State University.  She had been employed at General Motors Lordstown Plant, retiring in 2004. She was a very outgoing person, who loved fishing, watching football and Westerns.  She loved her family dearly and her friends and was always ready to make you laugh and there was never a dull moment with Cheryl around.

She leaves to cherish her memories, five sisters, Patricia Dawson, JoAnn Sutton, Cynthia Berger, Deborah Green Mose’ and Carolyn Green; a step-sister Catasha Garret; four brothers, John (Sonya)Green, Dwayne Green whom she reared, Alex and Andre Green; two dear friends,  Sheila Williams and Peggy Campbell and a host of nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother who reared her Doretha Green; her brothers James “Sonny” Green, Jessie Sr., Claude Jr. and Anthony Green and her Grandparents.  Friends may call one hour prior to the service 1:00-2:00pm at the funeral home.
